We were positively thrilled with the Sand Dollar. The living area was designed the same as our lake home in Manitoba. It was tastefully decorated/furnished, the ambience was lovely, the view was amazing (we could watch the whales from the outdoor dining and sitting areas) and it was spacious enough to easily accomodate the 7 in our party. We had originally booked for 10, but at the last minute, our son and his family weren’t able to join us. Our group was all extremely impressed with the accomodation. I was anxious before we arrived as one never knows exactly what to expect when booking online, but I certainly didn’t need to be. I also told Autumn and Jennifer that I thought the photos of the Sand Dollar online didn’t do it justice – it was much more beautiful than we had expected.

Outstanding job, Anne’s advice on location of the homes and advice on type of home was excellent. Autumn’s advice on attractions and rental vehicle was spot on.

Autumn was a terrific help. Our stay was wonderful. We found a The Red Line Snorkeling company nearby, we would highly recommend it. Alison came to teach us a yoga class and give us a massage. She was fantastic. Mahalo!

We had an unbelievable time at the perfect house on the perfect island and you even provided the perfect weather for us! Thanks to our dumb luck of losing the first property we put a deposit on, you were able to recommend to us golden sands. You did a great job! The house is managed very well!! (We loved the staff and our chef was the best yet) would you believe I lost weight eating 5 course dinners every night? Anyway, thank you for all you did to set it up for us.

The estate we visited during Christmas week on the Big Island was spectacular. Glass door opened to the surf. There was every possible kitchen gadget to prepare meals. The service from Hawaiian Hideways was exceptional. I would re-book again with no reservations and in fact, with the expectation that they would find us another magical house.

Comfortable home that feels like a cozy bungalow situated on the rocky shore of Napili coastline. West facing property with breathtaking sunsets and a steady sound of the ocean. We were here for seven days and never turned on the TV! We loved this property!

We had such a great family reunion of 11 with 6 adults and children from ages 2 to 12. It was a pleasure to use the well equipped kitchen and dine with a view of Lanai, Molokai and a cove filled with sea turtles. An exceptional home that we will return to during whale season.
