It was the perfect house for 4 households, in total 10 people. Well furnished, excellent access to beach, Princeville and Hanalei. We all loved it! Ages 72 to 2 1/2!

Jennifer and Hans were both very personable, knowledgeable and professional. We appreciated their expertise. The Villa is extremely well equipped. Great location!

Our stay at the Gull Cottage was indescribably fabulous. I don’t know where to start. Is it watching sunrise or sunset over Molokai and the Pailolo channel from the expansive lanai? Is it going to sleep with the sound of the waves on the point just below the Cottage? Is it the privacy and quiet of being in a gated community? Is it swimming out into great snorkeling right from the private cove? Is it watching the turtles swim up and down the local shore? Is it just relaxing in the beautifully renovated Cottage? Is it cooking a nice meal in the well appointed kitchen? The Cottage being located in West Maui put us close to so many great things to do, without being close to or on any major roads. Staying at the Gull Cottage made our stay in Maui the trip of a lifetime and I would highly recommend it. The communication about the logistics was great and Autumn who met us at the door was very helpful also. If it ever comes up for sale, please let me know! Again, it was hands down the best place I have ever stayed in Hawaii. I will be back.

Let me begin by thanking you for encouraging the spectacular property which you encouraged from our first conversation. You seemed to have a 6th sense about our families needs with our grandchildren and the dynamics of having 9 young ones 3 of whom have special needs. I wish all could have witnessed the interaction, growth and happiness enjoyed by all of them and us. All children are now swimming at some level and can independently move around (meaning with their special devices and supervision of course) .The beach was perfect in that it allowed somewhat the same freedom of exploration. One of our little guys who doesn’t hear or speak just giggled the entire time he was in the ocean. The grounds are so beautifully open and kicking a ball, running, blowing bubbles, learning how to throw a Frisbee and taking a hula lesson all happened in this magnificent setting. One of the outstanding highlights and a stroke of genius was having Kanani Lincoln prepare and serve 3 fabulous meals for all 17 of us. My 7 year old granddaughter greeted him the first 5 minutes we met and she wanted to help. He allowed her to do the prep work on the dessert he planned for the children and also for the adults. He is a treasure and everyone of us agreed this made our overwhelming time over the top! My daughter said her only regret was our one night we went out rather than having Chef Kanani work another of his miracles with food for us. The home is breathtaking from the moment you enter and each time you round a corner, enter a room or walk in the garden area, it continues to be more overwhelming. The details of design, art work, tile, common area and yes even the retreats away from the group for a little quiet time were all appreciated.

An amazing property! We didn’t want to leave the fabulous view from the patio, watching the sunrise and sunset. The pool was wonderful and just a few steps to the ocean. We also really enjoyed the peace and quiet of staying in an actual neighborhood. Thanks to Sunny for a great vacation!

Our family enjoyed our time at Vivid Pacific. The view was amazing. We spent the majority of our time outside by the pool or the ocean. The beds were very comfortable. The outside shower in the Master bedroom was a treat!

Home was spectacular! Can’t wait to stay in it again!

Anne Pawsat-Dressler and Hawaii Hideaways has changed the way I vacation. I can no longer think of planning a trip to a resort with a hotel room and public space when I know the ease, simplicity and luxury of renting a home through Hawaii Hideaways. I have now been to Sun Dreamz in Lahaina with my family, my extended family, with just the girls and most recently, just my husband and me. Each trip has been exceptional with our private and stunning oceanfront views complete with dramatic sunsets and turtles. We have our own kitchen with two grocery stores in walking distance and our preferred indulgence, Chef Jana McMahon to prepare gourmet meals for us. With kayaks and bikes rented for us and the pool, Jacuzzi and ocean in our back yard, the car keys are almost untouched as we escape, relax and enjoy. Sun Dreamz was thoughtfully built and exquisitely done. Every detail says this is your home and definitely not a rented home. If you are considering a vacation through Hawaii Hideaways, stop hesitating and just do it! It will be memorable beyond words.
