In the early morning sunlight, you can see as far down as 100 feet. With more than 600 winding curves and 59 bridges that meander through waterfalls, rainforests, and spectacular views of the Pacific along the way, nature lovers won’t want to miss the legendary “Road to Hana”. One of the Kaanapali’s highlights is the sunset cliff diving ceremony at Puu Kekaa, or Black Rock. If you happen to be in the area in June, head over to nearby Kapalua for the the Kapalua Food & Wine Festival where top chef’s, sommeliers and wine makers come together for the islands most popular culinary event. If you enjoy the performing arts, you’ll love the Burn’n Love or Ulalena shows at the Maui Theater on Lahaina’s Front Street.


Kaanapali Beach stretches six miles along west Maui’s beautiful coastline. Depending on the wind and the weather, the calm water makes this beach great for both snorkeling and swimming, and there are a host of other water activities available like paddle boarding, kayaking and body boarding.
