Named after King Kamehameha IV’s son Prince Albert, Princeville is a resort town on Kauai’s north shore. The community is famous for its beautiful scenery, world class amenities and championship level golf. Overlooking the incredible turquoise waters of Hanalei Bay, the area is known for its high-end real estate including some of the most spectacular luxury vacation rental properties in Princeville.

Things to Do

Staying in Princeville allows you to take advantage of all of the amenities offered in a resort community. Shopping, dining and entertainment are all on hand for your enjoyment. Princeville is home to two of the best golf courses in the state so golfers will want to take advantage of the opportunity to play at both the Prince and Makai courses. Tour operators offer the chance to explore the rainforest with a local guide, and Princeville Ranch Adventures allows you to take in the area by horseback. The more adventurous members of your party may want to explore the area from above by zipline. The Queens Bath is close-by and is popular destination amongst tourists. Bathers love to wade in to the natural tide pool that sits upon a rock shelf however because the ocean can be so unpredictable, we advise guests staying at our Princeville vacation properties against attempting to swim here. While it can be quite serene on a calm day, it only takes one large wave to whisk you out in to the ocean where the current can be too powerful to swim against. Waimea Canyon has been called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific and is well worth a spot on your Princeville to do list along with the Hanalei Lookout. From here you’ll get an incredible view of the tarot fields in the valley below. With the Hanalei River running through the fields and the rolling mountain range in the back, the lookout is a photographer’s dream. If it’s beautiful pictures you’re after, the 17-mile shoreline known as the Napali coast is a must. Complete with towering green sea cliffs and endless cascading waterfalls, the beauty of this stretch along the Pacific is breathtaking. The best way to see the Napali coast is by kayaking along the shore, or from above on one of the helicopter tours offered out of the Princeville airport.

Our luxury vacation rentals in Princeville are located on some of the best beaches this resort community has to offer.
